Fixed Service Recommendations

The ECC Report 173 on Fixed Service in Europe Current use and future trends post 2022 (published in 2023) includes an overview on Fixed Service usage in Europe, also with quantitative usage of FS Links.

National implementation information about Fixed Service channel arrangements and block assignments are provided in ECO Report 04 which is generated up-to-date out of the EFIS database. You can download ECO Report 04 - download here. However, the download version is only correct at the date of publication.

The information included here in EFIS provides also the national implementation information for the FS channellisation arrangements covered by the respective ERC/ECC Recommendations below (select a Recommendation and view the national implementation information). The information is also available as graphical visualisation of the implemented channellisation arrangements and can be exported.

CEPT Report 46 in response to the EFIS mandate of the European Commission to CEPT concluded that this information should be made available in the EFIS to further improve the spectrum inventory information for the Fixed Services. Quantitative data included in ECC Report 173 may be updated in the future using an electronic CEPT questionnaire when appropriate. As a further consequence, CEPT administrations are not obliged to provide individual right of use information for Fixed Service authorisations in EFIS.
